The site formerly housed bed-sit flats in a 60’s three storey brick built mid-terraced property which has been demolished and replaced with purpose built accommodation for a combined special and general needs housing project which is the first mixed development of its kind in the Borough of Kensington & Chelsea.
The new building sits within the footprint of the exiting building, respecting the established heights, building lines and the character of the surrounding properties on the periphery of a conservation area.
The building has been traditionally constructed with materials chosen for longevity and low maintenance including the installation of a copper roof. The project has been procured via a partnering agreement.
